Do we really want to go on holidays abroad?

We all dream of warmer weather, beaches, nice restaurants, drinks in great bars and everything we used to do before Cocvid-19 and when the world changed.

Currently there are very few flights available to the most popular holiday destinations, such as Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and others places in Europe, the Middle East or Asia.

What can we expect when arriving. Several places are still or have been put again under strict lockdown.

In some countries you may have to accept one or all of the following.

Curfew

In some countries there may be a curfew in place often from as early as 18.00 to around 6.00 in the morning.

Mask wearing

In some countries it is a legal requirement to wear a mask in all public  places, and that includes beaches.

Covid Tests

There may at least be requirements for two Covid tests when travelling. One usually not older than 72 hours before travelling out and one before travelling back.

Vaccine Certificate

Several countries, airlines and cruise companies are looking into requiring a vaccination certificate {vaccine passport} for their passengers and travellers.

Travel requirements change almost on a daily basis and this makes it particularly difficult to plan.

At this moment in time people who reside in the UK are only allowed to travel for business and family reason with a range of restrictions attached.
